fwee Rose Obsession Stay-Fit Lip Tint — Full Review

fwee built its whole reputation on lip tints, and the Rose Obsession Stay-Fit line is the one most people mean when they say “fwee tint.” Tested here in two shades: GW04 Call Me Baby and GW03 Coco Rose.

What “stay-fit” actually means

The name isn’t just branding — it’s describing 밀착력 (miljakryeok), or cling power: how tightly a product grips skin (or in this case, lips) instead of sliding around or sitting on top. That’s the whole mechanism behind a “transfer-proof” 립틴트 (rip-tinteu): you apply it, give it a minute to set, and the pigment bonds to your lips rather than sitting in a wet layer on top of them. Once that happens, cups, food, and masks stop picking up color the way they would with a straight-up lip gloss or bullet lipstick.

Texture and finish

Both shades go on genuinely lightweight — there’s none of the tackiness you’d expect from something described as a tint. The gloss is minimal by design, which is the tradeoff for that transfer resistance: a high-shine, glassy finish is wetter by nature, and wetter means more likely to transfer. What’s left once it sets is a soft 촉촉함 (chokchokham), or dewiness, rather than an actual wet-look shine — and it stays hydrating rather than drying, so it doesn’t cling to or emphasize dry, flaky patches the way a lot of long-wear tints do.

Color payoff

발색 (balsaek) is true to the bottle on both shades straight out of the tube, and builds if you go over it a second time. Neither shade needed more than one light layer to show up clearly.

• GW03 Coco Rose — a deeper, warm-toned rose. More noticeable on the lips without tipping into a bold, made-up look.

Both sit inside fwee’s 18-shade range for this line, which spans warm, neutral, and cool rose tones — from very sheer, barely-there shades through to deeper, more saturated ones, so there’s a reasonable spread whether you want a your-lips-but-better tint or something with more presence.

Lasting power

지속력 (jisokryeok) held up through a full meal and multiple drinks in testing, fading evenly rather than patchily — the sign of a tint that’s actually staining rather than just sitting on the surface.

Verdict

A genuinely transfer-resistant tint that doesn’t ask you to give up comfort to get there — worth it if minimal gloss doesn’t bother you, and worth skipping if a glossy finish is the whole point for you.
