Seongsu already has a pop-up on every corner, but this one has a Pokémon Center you can walk up to. Musinsa turned the ground floor of its Seongsu megastore into the town from Pokémon Pokopia, the Nintendo Switch 2 life-sim, for Korea’s first Pokopia concept store. It’s also Musinsa’s first concept store of any kind. If you’re in Seoul, you have until Tuesday, September 29.

What Pokopia is

In Pokopia you play as a 메타몽 (metamong), a Ditto that has turned itself into a human. You arrive in a town where the grass and trees have withered away, and you rebuild it into somewhere Pokémon want to live. The concept store is built like that town: fake grass, picket fences, pine trees, a red-roofed Pokémon Center, and cut-outs of Ditto-as-Lapras, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur standing around the displays.

Where and when

  • Address: Musinsa Megastore Seongsu, 1st floor — 62 Seongsu-iro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul (a short walk from Seongsu Station, Line 2)
  • Dates: September 12 (Sat) – September 29 (Tue), 2026
  • Hours: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Entry: Booking-only for the first nine days has ended. Since September 21 it’s been 현장 대기 (hyeonjang daegi), a walk-up queue, so you just show up. Musinsa warns that entry can be paused or limited if it gets crowded.

It’s been busy. Musinsa said the store’s opening weekend brought in over 15% more visitors than usual, mostly people in their 20s and 30s. The last weekday and final day are likely to be the worst for queues, so go early.

What’s for sale

Most of the Pokopia goods collection is also on Musinsa’s online drop: T-shirts, hoodies, a varsity jacket, pajamas, socks, keyrings, acrylic magnets, and a tumbler. The reason to go in person is the in-store-only stock:

  • Pale Pikachu flat plush keyring. 창백한 피카츄 (changbaekhan pikachu), Pale Pikachu, is the washed-out cream Pikachu that’s become the game’s breakout character, and this keyring is the item most people are there for.
  • Pokémon Center tissue case, shaped like the red-roofed Center.
  • Mug.

A second wave went on sale on September 21: a Pokopia playset, Moncolle figures (human-form Ditto, Pale Pikachu, Ditto transformed into Dragonite, and Professor Tangrowth), larger figures of Ditto-as-Lapras, Pale Pikachu and human Ditto, a Moncolle MS Ditto, a Pikachu-and-Pale-Pikachu sticker set, two cast stickers, and the tumbler.

In-store stock isn’t restocked once it’s gone, so by the final few days expect some of it to be sold out.

The capsule-toy wall

One whole wall is capsule machines, stocked with items you can only get from them here: 7 grip toks, 4 acrylic dioramas, 8 acrylic shaker keyrings, 6 acrylic keyrings, 10 metal pin badges, and 9 acrylic magnets. They’re all random draws. The machines in Musinsa’s photos show prices from ₩8,000 to ₩12,000 a pull, which adds up quickly if you’re chasing one design.

Free gifts with purchase

Every in-store purchase of the goods collection gets two random sticker designs. Spend more and you unlock one 사은품 (saeunpum), gift with purchase, per tier:

  • ₩30,000+: a 떡메모지 (tteok memoji), a chunky memo block (one per person)
  • ₩60,000+: a glow-in-the-dark Pale Pikachu keyring (one per person)
  • ₩100,000+: one of three reusable shopping bags, at random

Gifts run until they’re gone, and after two and a half weeks the top tiers may already be out. Ask at the counter before you plan your spend around one.

Worth knowing

  • Go on a weekday morning if you can. Monday the 28th at opening is your best bet for a short queue and full shelves.
  • Stack it with the Hanbok Pikachu events. HiKR Ground’s Antique Shop pop-up runs to October 11, and the AREX airport train is themed for the same stretch. HiKR Ground is a straight ride from Seongsu to Euljiro 1-ga on Line 2, about 20 minutes.
  • Missed it? Musinsa’s online Pokopia drop also runs until September 29, though the in-store-only items above aren’t part of it.
